Nutrition Services

We need sufficient energy to stay mentally focused and physically strong throughout the day. Nutrition plays a critical role in achieving these goals. Eating the right foods for your body will boost your immune system and speed recovery process. Hilary Granat, DPT, is a physical therapist and certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is the owner of Core Total Wellness; an affiliate organization that provides supplemental holistic health and nutrition services designed to enhance performance and to accelerate the healing process addressed by traditional physical therapy.

Functional Movement Screen (FMS)

Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is an examination tool composed of fundamental movements designed to identify compensatory patterns, functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of training, may be indicative of injury risk, and poor performance. The FMS generates the Functional Movement Score, which is used to target problems and track progress. Based on your score, a C.O.R.E. physical therapist will individualize the most beneficial exercises to restore mechanically sound movement patterns. This includes a strengthening and mobility program to enhance the quality of movement and overall sport performance.
